3D XPoint is a new non-volatile memory technology that is faster than NAND flash and denser than DRAM. It was developed by Intel and Micron to address the growing need for faster storage as digital data creation exponentially increases. 3D XPoint technology can access data much faster than NAND flash, potentially enhancing experiences like social media, collaboration, and gaming.
