Dunhill Visual Display
- 1. Goldlink Asia Dunhill Visual Display 1 In this report, I will be writing about the visual display of our new Dunhill boutique in Takashimaya. Store layout 1. Belts display 2. Ties display 3. SLG display 4. LLG display Belts display First tier of belts: Top (T) Second tier of belts: Middle (M) Third tier of belts: Bottom (B) Each tier has 12 belts, 6 on each side. This is to be kept tidy and neat at all times, and there should be no repeats of the belts on display.
- 2. For this particular belt, it is labeled ‘T10”. This means that this belt belongs to the Top tier, and is the tenth belt (from the left). This would make keeping of display belts easier for staff. Another use for this labeling is that stock from drawers will be easily located. If “T10” has a new piece in stock, there would be another box labeled “T10” in the drawer. This makes service more efficient and fast, customers do not need to wait. The picture below shows this example: Boxes with indication “O” indicate that these belts have yet to be displayed.
- 3. Goldlink Asia Dunhill Visual Display 3 Ties display We have two different displays for ties in the boutique: 1. Hanging display 2. Table display Hanging display Ties are hung 20 per tier, and each tie has to be leveled as similar as possible. Like the same concept in Andrew’s Ties Republic Plaza, the leveling of ties creates a neat overall look and customers will feel more comfortable looking at them. The ties have different textures as well, do be mindful of the textures when displaying.
- 4. Table Display Similar to the hanging display, all the ties should be leveled even when laid down. There can be switching around of colors to create a fresh look for customers, so everything looks new and interesting. As part of our Goldlink tradition, we try not to keep stock for items such as these to prevent stock take miscalculations. Small Leather Goods (SLG) Display All of the SLG should be displayed in the display casings. There is a piece of paper below every casing to indicate the price, product code, and stock availability for each item.
- 5. Goldlink Asia Dunhill Visual Display 5 An example is shown below: Two ticks on an item indicate that there are two more of that item in our stock. This information on our display can show customers the pricing of the items, and for the staff to know the availability of our products immediately. Even for the displays on the shelves, there is also a stock paper on the wall: This is hidden to look discreet, clean and professional to the customers. This can be viewed by simply moving the display left or right (depending on the display one is viewing). Stock in the drawer with a yellow highlighted code indicates that this item have yet to be displayed. This is similar to the belt stock indication of the letter “O”.
- 6. Large Leather Goods (LLG) display Each LLG display has to have a “A” shape per display. This is to create a balanced and neat display, while showcasing our products. The top product on the first shelf should be the most attractive, therefore attracting customers from afar. Color co-ordination should be noticed in each display. This would create a more comfortable sight for viewing. (eg. Grey products can be placed with grey products to illustrate uniformity). Smaller products can be placed with bigger ones to illustrate size comparison and even usage of products (can this fit an iPad?, etc.)
- 7. Goldlink Asia Dunhill Visual Display 7 All LLG should be stuffed properly, to prevent any creasing of products and to look professional under store’s displays and lightings.
