Project Engineering. This experience has been over the full project life-cycle from concept
evaluation, through front-end and detailed engineering and de-bottlenecking at various stages

projects.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Lambert Deep Pre-Commissioning Support Project: As the study engineer and manage, I
was responsible for the requisite OLGA simulation work and associated deliverables. The
purpose of the study was to is to support the pre-commissioning effort for the Lambert Deep
infield flowline by furnishing some preliminary information pertaining to flowline
dewatering, re-pressurization with Nitrogen and/or Hydrocarbon gas during the initial start-
up process.
CLIENT: Woodside Energy Limited
Okha Liquids Management Project: As the study engineer and manager, I was responsible
for the execution of all technical and managerial requirements. The purpose the study was to
assess whether it would be possible to operate the Okha FPSO without inlet separation
facilities during fuel gas import, via a subsea pipeline. The study also investigated
compositional impacts, liquid dropout rates, flow stability and inlet surge volumes.

Hess-Equus Phase 2A Project: As Flow Assurance Lead, I was responsible for the execution
of all FA CTRs for the various FA focus areas, covering areas such as the Steady state (incl.
line sizing/Integrated production modelling/Flow stability assessment/Temperature
management) / Transient Analysis (incl. Liquid management) of the infield subsea gathering
and Gas Export pipeline, Hydrate management, Subsea production system operating
conditions. I was responsible for the Phase 2A update to the FA design premise including the
provision of the FA information required to support the subsea production system mechanical
design and integrity management (corrosion and material selection). I was also responsible
for the technical integrity and assurance associated with all FA deliverables, and was the FA
discipline project representative at all project technical meetings.

Bonaparte Concept Definition FLNG Project: As Flow Assurance Lead, I was responsible
for the execution of all FA CTRs for the various FA focus areas, covering areas such as the
Steady state (incl. line sizing) / Transient Analysis (incl. Liquid management) of the subsea
gathering system , Hydrate management, Solids management, Subsea production system
operating conditions and FLNG inlet facilities controllability assessment. I was responsible
for the development of the FA design premise including the provision of the FA information

Gorgon Expansion Project: As Upstream Process Engineer, I was responsible for the
development of the FA schedule and work plans for various FA focus areas in Phase 2
covering areas such as Looped vs. Unlooped Pipeline operation, Liquid Management,
Flowline Sizing, MEG and Utility System FA design, Superspan Slugging Assessment and
Solids transportation. I performed the FA analysis on the Preferred Business Case option for
the Early Phase 2 FA work incl. SS simulation runs to estimate backpressures/ liquid hold-
ups, Min. Turndown rates and wall shear stress estimates; Transient runs required to provide
Surge volume estimates for Ramp-up/ Restart/Pigging. I produced the presentation material
for the Joint Venture Partner FA Peer Assist / Technical review and participated in these peer
assists. I produced the FA Phase 2B Summary Report, Phase 2 B Sand Transportability
Assessment, FA design premise and Hydrate management strategy and was responsible for
the development of the FA design premise and hydrate / sand management strategy for
FEED including the provision of cross discipline FA information requirements and providing
technical assurance for FA deliverables.

Commingled Flow Assurance Study for Hai Su Trang and Hai Su Den Early Field
Development Project (Phase 1): As Staff Consultant, I was responsible for Line sizing and
Thermo hydraulic Steady State modelling of the pipeline network from the HSD platform to
the FPSO via the HST and TGT H1 platforms. The scope included the establishment of
heater duty, flowline insulation requirements, analysis of shutdown/cooldown/restart pressure
requirements.

Ichthys LNG Project FEED: As Lead Flow Assurance Engineer during the FEED phase, I
was overall responsible for all Technical Integrity issues related to the Flow assurance design
of the Infield Subsea Gathering System, Subsea MEG/Chemical injection system, Gas Export
System and Transfer System. Overall responsible for providing direction for flow assurance
design activities, developing operating strategies and the development and review of
associated deliverables. Provide technical input to system integration and operability and the
development of CTRs/ VOs and interface with other disciplines and design contractors to
ensure overall alignment.

Browse LNG Project Pre-FEED: Responsible for all project engineering activities including
the preparation of CTRs, progress reports, activity scheduling and technical input/ interfacing
related to System engineering issues. Other responsibilities included the supervision of flow
assurance design activities and the review/ approval of associated deliverables. Flow
Assurance issues investigated included areas such as Line size optimization, start-up and
ramp-up surges, temperature management and insulation requirements, and wax management
through pigging to establish optimal pigging frequencies.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
The Gorgon Project: As Sr. Flow Assurance / Process Engineer was responsible for the
design production and development of Process / Flow Assurance deliverables such as
calculations, PFDs/P&IDs and datasheets for the Subsea Gathering system and onshore
receiving facilities, MEG/Chemical injection systems and Utility system associated with the
subsea production system. The work performed included a conceptual study to determine
Compression platform design requirements for the MP and LP compression phases and
produce a preliminary cost estimate for the topsides process facility.

Third Transmission Pipeline Project: As Sr. Flow Assurance / Process Engineer was
responsible for the development of subsea network P&IDs and Operating Philosophies for
Three Large Diameter Sour gas pipelines.

KRA South Hydraulic Study: Performed Thermo-Hydraulic Analysis to establish system
capacity/constraints and optimize proposed subsea architecture.

SAPI gas pipeline tie-in temperature profile assessment: Investigated the impact of gas
mixing at a new tie-in to an existing trunkline on the design temperature of the trunkline by
estimating the temperature profile for the turbulent jets in cross flow based on turbulent
mixing lengths and ambient heat transfer.
CLIENT: UNOCAL INDONESIA
BHP Billiton Stybarrow Flow Assurance Study: Produced the Flow assurance philosophies
associated with liquid management and hydrate management and determined THI injection
requirements. I was responsible for the development of “high level” procedures for Start-up,
Ramp-up, Turndown, Depressurisation and Pigging.

Crux FPSO NGL Recovery Project: Responsible engineer for the FPSO based inlet
separation, gas dew-pointing, TEG dehydration and compression system. Produced design
deliverables such as PFDs, PSFS, P&IDs, calculations, philosophies and datasheets.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
M4 and E11 Hub Flow assurance Steady State and Transient Studies: Produced Steady
state flow assurance report covering areas such as line sizing and liquid management.
Provided screening information for the M4 flow induced pulsation studies.

Adani Port Marine Terminal Project: Performed Liquid pressure surge analysis for various
operating scenarios associated with the SPM Offloading System and produced a technical
note.
ONGC G-1 and GS-15 Integrated Field Development: Produced FEED Steady State Flow
Assurance report for this deepwater subsea development and presented the key findings to the
client. Produced Operating and Control Philosophy for the Subsea tie-back and supervised
the process facility design for the GS-15 monopod. Participated in the EPC bid evaluations
and provided responses to flow assurance related Technical bid clarifications.

Talisman Northern Field Development Project: Performed Line sizing calculations and
estimated Ramp-up surge volumes for various scenarios using the Modified Cunliff method.
Talisman PM3 Pipeline System Operating Manual: I was responsible for the development
of Pigging, Inspection and Maintenance procedures and Pipeline System Start-up, Shutdown
and Operating Philosophy. I was required to review SAFE Charts and provide input to the
Operating Manual.
Talisman FSO project: Produced technical note for boiler fuel gas demand and tank heating
steam demand and performed requisite calculations.
CLIENT: TALISMAN ENERGY SDN. BHD.
Sumandak and MLTTB Projects: Determined optimal line sizes taking into consideration
available pressure drop, flow stability issues and liquid surge volumes for various operating
modes thru field life
SPM and Pipeline Project: Performed Hydraulic Studies to size offloading pumps aboard the
tanker and the pipeline to the tank farm. Pressure surge calculations were performed to
establish MAIPs and identify whether surge attenuation devices were required. Produced
pump datasheet and general specification.
CLIENT: MAOMING KING PETROLEUM
Petrodar Melut Basin Marine Terminal Project: Overall responsible for all project related
process engineering deliverables, inter-disciplinary interface requirements and Vendor co-
ordination. I performed Hydraulic studies for a Waxy Crude (Non-Newtonian flow) Tanker
Loading system and produced a Technical Note. I produced Process Datasheets for Export
Pumps, Atmospheric storage tanks and functional specifications for the Marine Terminal
Utility systems such as the hot oil system, Wax management system, Fire water system, Heat
tracing, Fuel Oil treatment and Water treatment systems and power generation etc.
CLIENT: PETRONAS CARIGALI SDN.BHD.
Bunga Kertas FPSO Project: Coordinated FEED and Detailed Design for the Topsides
Process Facility. I was responsible for the Condensate Export and Firewater System design,
including the production of design philosophies, calculations, datasheets and UFDs/P&IDs. I
reviewed specifications for the TEG Dehydration Package/Waste Heat Recovery Unit/Turbo
Compressors/Generators and Production Separators was involved in the Technical Bid
Evaluation for the TEG Dehydration Package and Production Facility EPC contractor bid
submissions. I prepared a preliminary cost estimate for the FPSO Topsides Production
Facilities and managed the HAZOP, Design Safety Case and QRA Studies for the FPSO. I
was also required to provide Technical advice on the validity of Variation Orders and
provided Topsides Contract related input to Close-Out report.
CLIENT: MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CORPORATION SDN.BHD.
Aban PY-3 Gas Utilisation Feasibility Study: Evaluated the basic processes for NGL
recovery and performed a screening study to ascertain techno-economic feasibility. Produced
cost/weight/space estimates for the recommended process/utility system and a feasibility
report.

CLIENT: PTT PUBLIC COMPANY THAILAND KRA South Hydraulic Study: Performed Thermo-Hydraulic Analysis to establish system capacity/constraints and optimize proposed subsea architecture. CLIENT: PTT PUBLIC COMPANY THAILAND SAPI gas pipeline tie-in temperature profile assessment: Investigated the impact of gas mixing at a new tie-in to an existing trunkline on the design temperature of the trunkline by estimating the temperature profile for the turbulent jets in cross flow based on turbulent mixing lengths and ambient heat transfer. CLIENT: UNOCAL INDONESIA BHP Billiton Stybarrow Flow Assurance Study: Produced the Flow assurance philosophies associated with liquid management and hydrate management and determined THI injection requirements. I was responsible for the development of “high level” procedures for Start-up, Ramp-up, Turndown, Depressurisation and Pigging. CLIENT: BHP BILLITON PTY. LTD. Crux FPSO NGL Recovery Project: Responsible engineer for the FPSO based inlet separation, gas dew-pointing, TEG dehydration and compression system. Adani Port Marine Terminal Project: Performed Liquid pressure surge analysis for various operating scenarios associated with the SPM Offloading System and produced a technical note. ONGC G-1 and GS-15 Integrated Field Development: Produced FEED Steady State Flow Assurance report for this deepwater subsea development and presented the key findings to the client. Produced Operating and Control Philosophy for the Subsea tie-back and supervised the process facility design for the GS-15 monopod. Participated in the EPC bid evaluations and provided responses to flow assurance related Technical bid clarifications. CLIENT: ONGC Talisman Northern Field Development Project: Performed Line sizing calculations and estimated Ramp-up surge volumes for various scenarios using the Modified Cunliff method. Talisman PM3 Pipeline System Operating Manual: I was responsible for the development of Pigging, Inspection and Maintenance procedures and Pipeline System Start-up, Shutdown and Operating Philosophy. I was required to review SAFE Charts and provide input to the Operating Manual. Talisman FSO project: Produced technical note for boiler fuel gas demand and tank heating steam demand and performed requisite calculations. CLIENT: TALISMAN ENERGY SDN. BHD. Sumandak and MLTTB Projects: Determined optimal line sizes taking into consideration available pressure drop, flow stability issues and liquid surge volumes for various operating modes thru field life SPM and Pipeline Project: Performed Hydraulic Studies to size offloading pumps aboard the tanker and the pipeline to the tank farm. CLIENT: MAOMING KING PETROLEUM Petrodar Melut Basin Marine Terminal Project: Overall responsible for all project related process engineering deliverables, inter-disciplinary interface requirements and Vendor co- ordination. I performed Hydraulic studies for a Waxy Crude (Non-Newtonian flow) Tanker Loading system and produced a Technical Note. I produced Process Datasheets for Export Pumps, Atmospheric storage tanks and functional specifications for the Marine Terminal Utility systems such as the hot oil system, Wax management system, Fire water system, Heat tracing, Fuel Oil treatment and Water treatment systems and power generation etc. CLIENT: PETRONAS CARIGALI SDN.BHD. Bunga Kertas FPSO Project: Coordinated FEED and Detailed Design for the Topsides Process Facility. I was responsible for the Condensate Export and Firewater System design, including the production of design philosophies, calculations, datasheets and UFDs/P&IDs. I reviewed specifications for the TEG Dehydration Package/Waste Heat Recovery Unit/Turbo Compressors/Generators and Production Separators was involved in the Technical Bid Evaluation for the TEG Dehydration Package and Production Facility EPC contractor bid submissions. I prepared a preliminary cost estimate for the FPSO Topsides Production Facilities and managed the HAZOP, Design Safety Case and QRA Studies for the FPSO. I was also required to provide Technical advice on the validity of Variation Orders and provided Topsides Contract related input to Close-Out report. CLIENT: MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CORPORATION SDN.BHD. Aban PY-3 Gas Utilisation Feasibility Study: Evaluated the basic processes for NGL recovery and performed a screening study to ascertain techno-economic feasibility.
