Invely-5023 outperformed Afranil LTD in defoaming and antifoaming tests of papermaking white water systems. Tests were conducted at 25°C and 45°C by adding 8μl of each defoamer to 200ml of white water and 300ml of foam. Invely-5023 reduced foam faster than Afranil LTD at both temperatures and maintained a foam-free state for a longer period of time, demonstrating better defoaming and antifoaming properties.
