The stock market, this week, closed at 1263.72 points with an increase of 0.90 points compared to the opening day. Last week, it had been on the incline with 30.72 points at the last day compared to the first day. According to NEPSE, the stock market recorded transactions of some 10,107 units of shares of 130 companies worth around Rs 1.9 billion. This amount is less than by 31.97 per cent compared to the previous week. The sensitive index (Sensex) measuring the transactions of ‘A’ class companies touched 272.45 points with an increase of 0.19 points compared to the opening day.
