TCBL Cloud Infrastructure (1) ‣ Imec VMWare platform ‣ 72 CPU cores, 900GB RAM and 80TB storage ‣ Redundant computing, networking with passive offline backup in a 2nd datacentre 5km away ‣ Compatible with all operating systems ‣ Imec Virtual Wall ‣ Ca. 400 physical servers (as opposed to virtual ones above) ‣ No sysadmin needed for configuration

TCBL Cloud Infrastructure (2) ‣ FiWare Node ‣ Distributed infrastructure which can run Linux based virtual machines. ‣ Generic Enablers ‣ However, no Windows compatibility ‣ Networking and services ‣ Redundant connection to Belnet (Belgian NREN). ‣ 10Gb/s from the imec Cloud towards the Internet, 10Gb/s from research networks to imec, 700Mb/s from the commercial Internet. ‣ IPv4 and IPv6 public IP addresses (IPv6 not available through FIWARE)
