CLOUD COMPUTING.pptx
INTRODUCTION
Cloud Computing provides us a means by which
we can access the applications as utilities, over
the internet. It allows us to create, configure,
and customize applications online.
With Cloud Computing users can access database
resources via the internet from anywhere for as long
as they need without worrying maintenance or
management of actual resources.
CLOUD COMPUTING
Cloud computing is the delivery of different
services through the internet, including data
storage, servers, databases, networking, and
software. Cloud-based
storage makes it
possible to save files to
a remote database and
retrieve them on
demand.
CLOUD MODEL TYPES
Deployment Model: Refers to the management of
the cloud’s infrastructure. The cloud hosting
deployment model designates the cloud
environment’s exact category, its size, and the
accessing mechanism. It also tells the nature and
purpose of the cloud.
Service Model: Cloud computing is a broad term
that holds a more extensive range of services. It is
composed of a particular type of service; a cloud
computing platform allows its users to access.
Sub-categories of the deployment
model:
These are:
 Public Cloud Model
 Private Cloud Model
 Hybrid Cloud Model
 Community Cloud Model
Deployment Model:
1.Public Cloud: Public Cloud is a type of cloud hosting
that easily allows the accessibility of systems & its
services to its clients/users. Some examples of
companies the provide public cloud facilities are IBM,
Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. This cloud service is
open for use.
2.Private Cloud: Private Clouds permit only authorized
users, providing the organizations that have dynamic,
critical, secured, management demand based
requirements should adopt Private Cloud.
3.Hybrid Cloud: Hybrid Cloud is another cloud
computing type, which is integrated, i.e., it can
be combination of two or more cloud servers,
i.e., private, public, or community combined as
one architecture, but remain individual entities.
4.Community Cloud: Community Cloud is
another type of cloud computing in which the
cloud setup is shared manually among different
organizations that belong to the same
community or area.
Types Of Service Model Cloud:
 Software as a Service (SaaS)
 Platform as a Service (PaaS)
 Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
1.Software as a Service: SaaS is defined as the
software distribution model deployed on the
internet in which a cloud service provider
provides applications. It is also known as
“on-demand software” or “pay-as-you-go”
application. The customer accesses the
applications over the internet.
Software as a Service Platform as a Service
2.Platform as a Service: PaaS is a platform for
programming developers and brings benefits-SaaS
is used for but from the software development
point. It is the computer platform that provides the
facility to use web applications quickly. The
customer uses their own applications.
3.Infrastructure as a Service:
IaaS, as the name suggests, is a way of providing Cloud
computing infrastructure such as virtual machines, storage
drives, servers, operating systems & networks, which is
also an on-demand service like that of SaaS. It is the only
layer of the cloud where the customer gets the platform for
their organization to outsource IT infrastructure on a
pay-per-use basis. The customer uses their own platform.
CLOUD STORAGE
Cloud storage is a way for businesses
and consumer to save data securely online
so it can be easily shared and accessed
anytime from any location.
APPLICATIONS:
 E-mail
 Storage, backup and retrieval
 Creating and testing apps
 Analyzing data
 Audio and video streaming
 Delivering software on demand
AFFECT OF CLOUD ON HUMAN
LIVES:
 The application became cheaper, easier to
find, and use.
 The new application becomes more
comfortable to develop & create based on
a standard modular part.
 Cloud will provide new social services by
connecting through social networks.
 Lessen the usage of proprietary operating
systems in our daily computing.
 Connection to the cloud can be made
whenever we want.
ADVANTAGES:
 Low Cost
 Storage Capacity
 Low Cost Of IT Infrastructure
 Increase Computing power
 Reduce Software Costs
 Updating
DISADVANTAGES:
 Internet Speed
 Constant Internet Connection
 Security
