- 2. David Best Inclusive Media Design Accessibility IT specialist David Best has more than thirty years of experience in project management, software design, and development. David developed glaucoma at age five and lost all eyesight by age twenty. Despite this setback, he was one of the first blind Canadians to graduate with a degree in computer science from Western. David's work experience includes software engineer with Air Canada, subject matter expert on accessibility business solutions at IBM, and now a senior associate at Inclusive. With his life experiences and ICT knowledge skills, David has a unique opportunity to advocate for disabled professionals. Sandy Feldman Inclusive Media Design A veteran of Inclusive’s Web Accessibility team, Sandy Feldman is a seasoned and creative accessible web designer and front-end developer. With vast experience in digital design and website creation, Sandy specializes in designing visually innovative sites, individually tailored to the client’s needs and mission. A strong supporter of many disability-related communities, her volunteer websites include BlindSailing.ca, TorontoTrailBlazers.org, and IceOwls.ca. Rob Harvie Inclusive Media Design A founding director of Inclusive Media and Design, Rob Harvie brings a rich background in ICT and accessibility solutions. At the University of Toronto for more than ten years, he directed IT for the faculty of Information, and lectured on human-computer interaction and emerging technologies, including augmented and virtual reality and multi-sensory interfaces. Rob serves on various working and advisory groups.
