This document provides an overview of the 5S+1 methodology for improving workplace organization and safety. It describes the five S's - Seiri (Sort), Seiton (Set in Order), Seiso (Shine), Seiketsu (Standardize), and Shitsuke (Sustain) - as well as adding Safety as a sixth element. For each S, it outlines specific practices like removing unnecessary items, assigning storage locations for necessary items, cleaning, creating schedules and duties, and sustaining discipline. The goal of 5S+1 is to improve safety, productivity and morale through a well-organized and clean work environment.
