- 26. Our Capabilities-Extrusion Extrusion is a high volume manufacturing process in which raw plastic material is melted and formed into a continuous profile. At Manama Packaging Industry W.L.L. , Extrusion includes mono layer as well as Multi-layered films of LD, LLD, HD, and PP. We have the ability to convert granules into film ranging in thickness from 07 to 200 microns with wide range of thickness and sizes. Co-extruded films are manufactured up to 5 layers and German made Extruders provide consistent high quality Films to suit the inherent properties of different products to be packed
- 27. Our Printing facility includes 2 Flexographic Printing machines and one Rotogravure Printing press Manama Packaging Industry-Printing Plant
- 28. At MPI, we employ high class Rotogravure and Flexo presses, which can print up to 9 colors. The machines offer products of high quality print and our versatility allows Precision printing to ensure immense Brand Visibility. We also have an In-house ink blending and shade matching system , using state of the art technology at our production site to ensure color matching and design profiles to be 100% defect free. - 30. Our Capabilities-Lamination Lamination is the technique of manufacturing a material in multiple layers, so that the composite material achieves improved strength, stability, appearance or other properties from the use of differing materials. At MPI , we have the ability to produce Solvent- Base and Solvent-less laminates for packaging materials. Cold Seal can also be applied at the same process. Our Solvent less and Solvent Based Lamination machines from Europe use the high quality adhesives to offer strong laminates. The machines are capable of Laminating various substrates like Opp/Mett OPP, BOPP/ Metallized CPP, Al foil /LDPE, Met PET/PE,PET/PE etc. Advanced technology in this process applied results in a high barrier and superior finish, giving enhanced shelf life.

- 32. Our Capabilities-Slitting Roll slitting, also known as log slitting or rewind slitting, is a shearing operation that cuts a large roll of material into narrower rolls. We have top of the line European Slitting machines, which accurately slit and wind using the flush-cut winding technology. These slitting machines also have Precise winding and tension control system, and is suitable for films, papers and laminates. Latest innovation in this process is our recently imported Slitting machine from Italy , which is capable of slitting and rewinding the plastic sheets , rolls and laminates. The machine speed is incredibly fast i.e. up to 700 meters / minute and is fully automatic featuring Core Positioning technology through laser beams.

Our main capabilities are: • Center-seal Bags & pouches • Courier Bags • Flyers and security bags • 2-side seal Bags • Stand-up & gusseted pouches with zipper facility • U-Shaped, Banana and Die-Cut Handles for shopping bags • Wicketed Bags Our latest innovation in Bag Making section is the new German Made LEMO Wicketed Bag Making machine, which is capable of producing wicketed bags, commonly used in the diaper industry and sanitary products.

The Machine model being CAPmat ST-TU 850 is a high performance Bag Making line for the production of Diaper Bags . The machine is ultra dynamic , equipped with Servo Drive technology with COMPUTRONIC Function control.
