Problem Statement: Young, ambitious woman studying at a mediocre university is looking to leave school and enter the workforce because she is not pleased with the quality of her current schooling. Another university or career planning options may allow her to remain focused on previous education goals. Possible Options: • Discuss concerns with university counselor • Evaluate other universities • Plot future career goals and determine education requirements. • Meet with potential new employer to shadow existing employees for a day • Take a leave of absence from school to experiment in workforce. Don’t officially drop out or abandon the idea of returning. • Dig deeper into why the current university isn’t meeting needs • Is the curriculum challenging enough • Would another course of study retain her interest • Is there another driving force such as monetary issues • Attend a semester at varying universities • Continue changing major and universities until ideal selection is made • Conduct online research and online communities to gain insight into situation • Discuss situation with others in existing program • Sensitively discuss thoughts with existing faculty • Invisibly observe the day to day activities of the job offer

Determine most logical method to evaluate idea. Run through flow with stakeholder. Incorporate feedback and refine. Determine if at the conclusion the stakeholder would be able to make a decision.
