This document summarizes a study applying a fuzzy assessment model to evaluate operative groups in virtual educational forums. The model was developed by Ilan Chamovitz, Marcos da Fonseca Elia, and Carlos Alberto Nunes Cosenza. A case study involved dividing post-graduation students into groups of 4-6 to discuss topics over a limited period via asynchronous communication and evaluating messages using the COPPE-Cosenza fuzzy model.
