Milton Hershey was born in 1857 in Pennsylvania and dropped out of school in 4th grade to become a candy maker, eventually starting his own successful chocolate company. He married but was widowed in 1915. Milton Hershey died in 1945 at the age of 88 from pneumonia, having brought happiness to many through his chocolate products and built an entire town dedicated to his employees.
