      Connect the Dots teams up with non-profits to
      develop and implement a customized “green”
      plan for each facility

      – Affordable and achievable sustainability solutions.
      – An experienced team of green experts so that non-profit
        leadership can stay focused on achieving their social
        missions
      – A pathway to organization-wide change with immediate
        measurable results, both environmental and financial

Our Impact in 2009
 Connect the Dots partnered with 15 nonprofits to green 31 buildings.
 Annually, these nonprofits will:
        • Save $187,540 in Year 1 and $788,141 over five years
        • Conserve 2.9 million gallons of water
        • Divert 356,000 pounds of waste from landfills
        • Reduce 94,035 kWh of electricity consumption

The Green Start Program
A jump start towards sustainability

• Duration: Three months
• Connect the Dots is a “personal trainer” in eco-friendly
  practices - informing and supporting
• Focus on fundamental conservation practices
   – Energy Efficiency
   – Water Conservation
   – Waste Reduction
   – Responsible Purchasing

Green Start is best for
nonprofits which:
• Have the authority to make facility changes
     – Upgrades to water fixtures, lighting equipment, etc.

• Have the support of their senior management
     – Have approval to make significant changes to operations
       Potential changes include: updating purchasing policies,
       establishing a culture of conservation, etc.

• Have a budget to invest in upgrade costs
     – Although incentives and rebates typically cover a large portion
       of the overall project costs, up-front funding is needed
     – Up front investments are typically paid-off within the first year
