Lesson 3: Demonstrative Adjectives

A demonstrative adjective comes before a noun. Demonstrative
adjectives tell which one or which ones.

This and these are demonstrative adjectives that point out nearby
places or things.

    This glass next to me is transparent.
    These lenses over here magnify objects.



That and those are demonstrative adjectives that point out people or
things that are far away.

    Pick up that box over there.
    We can use those mirrors by the window.

Proper Adjectives

A proper adjective is formed from a proper noun. A proper noun
names a certain person, place, thing, or idea.
