Our Experiment tested different leaveners for bread: yeast, egg white, and no leavener. The hypotheses were that yeast would produce the best results. Materials included bowls and the different leaveners. Observations showed that yeast produced the largest bread, while the no leavener and egg white breads were smaller. The conclusion is that yeast bread grew more than egg white bread. A reflection noted that more preparation and organization could have improved the experiment. Further research questions include how yeast duplicates and where it originates.
