Final editing log upload
- 1. This is how I imported the video clips. I firstly went to the folder which I had all the rendered shots put in. as you can see I have dragged the shot I am going to start with to the software. This print screen is a establishing shot of Haverstock school. In this shot I added a lensed beam effect which I thought would be effective for this specific shot. after I did this I added text onto it 'A Dardana Lipovica production’.
- 2. As you can see I uploaded the establishing shot of Haverstock onto the editing software, into the timeline, as you can see at the bottom of the screen shot.
- 3. For my next clip i chose a picture of my younger brother as the production company as i thought the picture went well with the genre and also the name of the trailer. also in this clip i added a white fade effect, as i thought it would be appealing to the viewers which i thought worked well. i also added text ' Diamond pictures presents'
- 4. This shot is a clip of Jamie Spencer walking up the stairs as Mustaf Adan (Jack). As you can see i had to drag this clip onto the timeline. As you can see i have added the next scene with Mustaf scene walking up the stairs which cross fades to the scene with Jamie's which is on the left.
- 5. Mustaf's scene which was shot in the school toilets was split into two parts as you can see above , then which i added the scene were he was following Ace( played by Dardana lipovica)
- 6. On the clip i added a intertitle just after the Mustaf's scene which was held in camden gardens. on each corner of every clip on the timeline has a circle button which can be customise, which then i changed it so the clip ended with a slow fade out The customisation button also allowed me to reduce the lighting.
- 7. The next clip i decided to add onto the timeline was the scene were i meet Jack(played by Mustaf) in camden gardens. this scene had the text overlapping the this scene which caused it to crossfade on another.
- 8. Also in this scene i decided i wanted to delete the audio from the clip as i wanted the music playing instead , as there wasnt much script said in this scene also thought it would be effective on this part of the trailer.
- 9. For my trailer i decided i wanted a piano track with a thriller/tense soundtrack as i thought both playing on my trailer would be effective and appealing to the viewers so i imported a calm piano instumental. As you can see on the screen shot on the left i dragged the 'encounter-scary dangerous music' from my documents onto the timeline. i then changed the tempo of the soundtrack and customised it so that it was quieter than the piano track, at the end i then made the tracks fade out to when the trailer finished.
- 10. At the end of my trailer, the name 'blackjack' text went from beging white with a red outline and a shadow glow, also with the text below. i then decided i wanted to change the text to being just white as i thought it would be more effective as i thought it didn't look eye- catching. on the screen shot below you can see that i added a standard flicker effect to the text which made the clip more effect and appealing to the audience, i then added the fade out at the end of the clip which faded at the same time as the music.
