- 4. Sugar The color is light yellow, small, and clustered. It hangs from a long slender 2 inch stem, appearing with or a shade before the leaves in early spring.

- 6. Black Locust It has Light brown. It’s about 2 to 4 inches long, containing 4 to 8 kidney-shaped, smooth, red-brown seeds. It has a mellow in the fall.

Also, unlike other similar trees in Ohio, the small fruit of the Red Cedar is well covered, making it look more like a berry than a cone.
