This paper discusses strategic decision-making in resource selection for grid computing, focusing on how to choose the best alternative resources for processing instructions based on various criteria, such as security, political factors, and cost. It proposes a combined framework using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solutions (TOPSIS) to help technical managers effectively rank and select resources. The aim is to provide a flexible decision-making model tailored to the specific needs and objectives of organizations when utilizing external processors in grid computing.
