This document proposes an IoT-based smart guide platform for indoor museums to improve the visitor experience. The system uses a wearable device with a camera and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to identify the user's location and capture images of artworks. This information is sent to a processing center along with the captured images. At the processing center, the images are analyzed to recognize the artwork and location data is used to retrieve multimedia content about the artwork from the server. The relevant content is then sent to the user's smartphone via an app. The system aims to automatically provide customized information to users as they view different artworks in the museum in order to deliver content in a more engaging way compared to traditional paper guides or audio guides.
