- 1. Junior 3 AUGUST Monday 4 ● Winter Break. We talked about our winter vacations, answering these questions: 1. WHAT was the funniest game you played? 2. WHO did you play that game with? 3. WHERE did you go on your vacations? 4. WHY did you love your vacations? ● We revised PRESENT SIMPLE orally and watched a tutorial. Then, we did a written exercise using the Pencils in the Middle technique. ● Finally, we completed an Exit Ticket. (Write something new that you learned today). Tuesday 5 ● Phonics: Phonics bug. Sunny Days, Rainy Days. We read the story, spotted the sounds in the story and wrote the words on the word bank. Wednesday 6 ● We worked on Present Simple. ● We completed a Starters Mock Test. Thursday 7 ● It was Ben’s Special Day! ● We worked on a Reading Comprehension exercise all together.
