From the constitution
 The founding purpose of Ruby Australia
is to further the use and adoption of the
Ruby programming language in Australia,
 and to support and encourage a vibrant
   community around the language and
           related technologies.
Who?
Initially

• Many involved since initial meeting at RC9
• Particular thanks to Pat Allan & Richie
  Khoo
  • did “the admin hard yards” - e.g. created
    constitution, registered association etc.
Committee
• Keith Pitty (President)
• Nigel Rausch (Vice-President)
• Sebastian von Conrad (Treasurer)
• Richie Khoo (Secretary)
• Dan Draper
• Ben Schwarz
What?
Formalities

• Committee meets every two months
• General meeting at every Railscamp
• We aim to share the roles (e.g. half the
  committee will step down at RC11)
