Matthew's SMART goal is to build a bobber motorcycle from a Yamaha XS650 project bike. He has begun tearing down the bike to rebuild it and aims to have it running by early to mid-spring. Working on the bike improves his mental health and he finds motivation from the challenge. So far he has found the bike, gotten it running, taken it apart, cleaned the frame, cut and welded on a new rear section, and installed new handlebars and fender. The hardest remaining task will be wiring the bike.
