This document discusses measurements and outcomes from a study evaluating a football-based healthy living program for prisoners (FFIT) across three phases. The measurements assessed feasibility, acceptability, and impacts on health outcomes. Phase two measurements at one prison found improvements in weight, sitting time and sleep quality. High attrition was an issue. Phase three added a second prison and shorter follow up. The measures provided insights into potential primary and secondary outcomes for a future effectiveness trial. Presentations have disseminated results and future plans include additional conferences.
