Anti-microbial hand gels
Bacteria
Bacteria can be found everywhere. We
cannot see them because they are so
small, we can only see them when
 they multiply into colonies. However,
 they exist virtually everywhere on
earth, from the hottest to the coldest
places, from the highest to the lowest,
they are there. Germs are everywhere,
in the ocean, and in the air.
MRSA
Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus
 aureus (MRSA) is a bacterium
 responsible for several infections in
humans which are difficult to treat.
 MRSA is especially troublesome in
 hospitals and nursing homes where
there are large groups of patients with
 open wounds and weakened

immune systems who are at a greater
Beating MRSA

Hospital patients and their visitors can take simple steps to
reduce the risk of MRSA infection. People who work in
hospitals have guidance on preventing MRSA infection.
Good hygiene helps to prevent diseases and infections such
as NRSA spreading, good hygiene consists of taking various
  steps. For example:
- washing your hands regularly
- not having open wounds
- covering your mouth when you mouth and sneeze
- eating clean food
-
Anti-microbial hand gels

In a hospital there are lots of different germs which get
picked up by your hands, if you wash your hands
regularly with an anti-microbial hand gel, then that
helps stop infections spreading in hospitals.
