This document discusses two types of attention: involuntary attention, which arises without conscious effort due to instinctual reactions or personal interests, and voluntary attention, which is aroused through willpower. Involuntary attention includes enforced involuntary attention from instincts like fear or curiosity, and spontaneous involuntary attention from sentiments or interests. Voluntary attention contains implicit voluntary attention motivated by rewards or punishments, and explicit attention obtained through repeated willful acts.
