Introduction
- 1. IntroductionProdigy: Omen, Music video.
- 2. The Project.My project was to make a music video in a group in class.We had to use copyright songs for the music video for copyright issues.When we were looking at songs we could use we found that these songs would not go well with our ideas, so we looked at quite well known bands and we emailed ‘The Prodigy’ and ‘The Courteeners’.The Prodigy were the first to get back in touch with us and said we could use one of their songs if it was ok with their record label cooking vinyl records.We emailed the label and they replied saying that we could use their song.After receiving this the Courteeners finally emailed us back saying we could use their song but we had already chosen the Prodigy’s song ‘Omen’.

The Team.I worked with a friend of mine who was in the same class as me.His name is Tom Gudgeon.Tom had already produced a piece of film work the previous year where as I had done a magazine.It was good to have someone who was familiar with making the film and producing storyboards because I was not to sure.
- 4. My ContributionI did a bit of the filming but Tom did most of it because we thought it best since he got an award of college for best cinematography.I also did most of the editing. At first I thought that final cut was very hard to use but once I got used to using it I thought it was really easy to use.I also had a big influence on the ancillary tasks. Since I do Graphic Design at college as well as media I did a lot of work on the CD cover and magazine advertisement.
- 5. Summing up.Overall I thought me and Tom worked well as a team.We finished our work on time.We didn't have many issues using the software that we were using.And we created a good music video.
