- 3. Shot 1 This is a long shot of a city, in the shot we see building and lots of lights. This shot could be used to establish the location of the film and that is known as a establishing shot. The lighting of the shot is dark to show night time, then there are lots of bright lights to possibly suggest its quite a busy city. In the background of the shot there is a factory which could suggest its set in old times as their aren't many factories that look like that anymore. This shot is also quite a short shot to just show a quick picture of where it is, after this shot it quickly fades to the next to start a continuity of clips along the whole trailer. The backing music starts off here at a quite slow pace.
- 4. Shot 2 This is a mid shot showing the characters in the car only showing their heads but from slightly far away. In this shot there are people walking in the background, wearing old style costume again suggesting it’s a old style film. The car model looks old suggesting the same thing. The lights in the background and the car lights are the only thing making you be able to see it, this puts all your attention on the car, making the audience think there are important people in the car. There being a lot of people around the car suggests it could be quite a busy city where it is set. The sound is still the backing music in this part, the music is quite slow at the moment.
- 5. Shot 3 This shot is mainly to show text, it says in big bold writing of the twins who ruled a city, this could mean the city we see in the first shot. It is big and bold so the audience can see what it says and it grabs their attention. The font and colour of the background suggest again an old style film, the background colour being almost a wanted poster kind of colour this linking into the crime/thriller genre that the film is.
- 6. Shot 4 In this shot we have mid long shot of one of the character looking out a window in what could be his house. In the background we have the city again to show where they are and to back up the previous shot of twins ruling a city. This shows the character looking down on the city as if he is big and strong suggesting he is a important character with authority. The things inside the room back up the fact that its old style, for example the tv in the corner shows a old type of tv that was seen long ago. In this part of the background music the lyrics say ‘they’re running scared’, this possibly suggesting that everyone is running scared of this big strong character we see in the shot.
- 7. Shot 5 this shot is a mid-close up shot, showing most of the two characters but not all of them. Here we see two men smoking in a car, both of them wearing suits, which is stereotypical for the gangster type people, this tying in with the genre again crime and thriller. They both have quite similar faces and hairstyles, one wearing glasses to distinguish one from the other. in this part there is a voiceover that says ‘me and my brother’. This showing the audience that these are the two main characters, the ‘twins that ruled a city’ . Their facial expressions are very serious looking, meaning they are serious people, possibly angry or just nasty. This being typical of the gangster profile. We will try and use this idea of gangsters smoking cigars looking quite gangster like, we will use this stereotype in our teaser trailer.
- 8. Shot 6 This shot is an over the shoulder shot showing what this man is looking at. The man in the shot looking smartly dressed with smart hair, meaning he has quite a important job. Hess looking at a board with different pictures and maps on, this showing to the audience he is a detective looking for criminals as he has their pictures. The pictures on the wall being of the two twins looking menacing, this once again suggesting they are committing crimes and are gangsters. The voice over is this shot again, saying ‘we’re going to rule London’. This being the same voice as the last shot meaning its one of the brothers. This is showing that they want power and want to do whatever they want, also meaning they are gangsters and go against the law. We are going to possibly add a detectives crime board with criminals on to show the genre we will be using.
- 9. Shot 7 This is a close up shot of bundles of money in a sink. This possibly suggesting its stolen money, or perhaps money been made from doing illegal things. The money looks old showing the film is in old times. The money being in the sink could suggest they do what they want and put it all in the sink because they want to. It is a close in shot to show that there is a lot of money here so it is odd that it has just come from nowhere, again suggesting crime and it possibly being stolen. The music in the background is starting to get a bit quicker to suggest its getting tense and serious, as they are doing criminal things like possibly stealing money.
- 10. Shot 8 This next shot being a mid shot of one of the twins walking into prison, with two police officers behind him. This then reinforcing the fact they are gangsters doing criminal things, he has been taken to prison for committing a crime. Also the clothes he is wearing is boring and bland and looks like clothes a prisoner would wear in old times. The people behind him wearing police uniform suggesting they are upholding the law. Also the bars on the windows and the door is bars , suggesting confinement in a prison, as if he is dangerous and has done something to get him there. The music here is slightly louder and a little faster to show it getting more intense and more things begin to happen that could interest the auidience.

Shot 9 This shot is a two shot showing the main two character in the shot and then other characters in the background, the 180 degree rule is also used here as it is only showing from the characters and beyond, nothing on the other side of the characters. In the shot we see one of the twins holding a gun a weapon, this shows crime being committed as he is threatening to kill the other character . The expression on both of their faces show they are very serious and the one who is one of the twins show to be very angry and aggressive which gangster would be like. They are wearing smart clothing suggesting a party perhaps as there is also food on a table and fancy lights. Also the clothing could mean they are all quite important people. At this part of trailer the music is slowing down, there is a sound effect added to show the shock of a gun being pulled on another character. For example in our teaser trailer we are going to use props like a gun to show the genre we are making as crime/thriller.
- 12. Main title: big and bright in colour to stand out, placed just under the main image. Main images: character wear quite smart clothing, they all have quite serious facial expressions, they might have a important job as they are wearing suits. Actors name: actors name here above the title as he plays to of the main character and is quite important Slogan: slogan placed in with the main image, its three strong words to give you an idea of what the film is about. Family could suggest to the audience the two men are brothers. Fear could be seen from their stern facial expressions. Power could be shown as they are big images of the character which make them look big and strong. Production Companies that have worked on it and actors in the film.
