- 6. What Docksal ● Docksal is docker powered environment for web development ● It support Drupal, Symfony, WordPress, laravel.. Etc ● It also support nodejs and go based frameworks ● It even support plain html ● ‘fin’ is the command line tool ● Project can be started with Zero configuration
- 7. Installing docksal ● Install docker ● Install fin using command ● Mac `curl -fsSL get.docksal.io | DOCKER_NATIVE=1 bash` ● Linux /windows ‘curl -fsSL get.docksal.io | bash’
- 8. Creating new project ● Command “fin project create” ● It ask 2 question and confirmation ● Project type ● Project name ● At the end you will have up and running Drupal 8 site.
- 9. Adding to existing project ● Create .docksal folder in project root ● Run ‘fin config generate’, it creates 2 files docksal.yml and docksal.env ● Start project ‘fin p start’ or ‘fin project start’
