The 4-year project aimed to enhance the adaptive capacities of rural communities in semi-arid areas of India to climate change. It involved assessing vulnerabilities, formulating adaptation strategies, and engaging stakeholders to improve livelihoods in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. The national consortium, led by MSSRF and involving AFPRO and MANAGE, conducted analysis and community activities in Mahabubnagar district to strengthen adaptation and diversification of agriculture, water management, and other livelihood skills.
