Why it’s important.
Bad work culture can negatively impact your referral programs in
various ways-
1. Low employee participation
2. Irrelevant referrals from employees
3. Referral of short stayed employees
Do not lie while hiring
● If incentives are hard to score, do not lie that they are easy to
score or say “you don’t have to perform exceptionally.”
● Do not promise shift preferences if managers will not honor it.
Non dominant leadership
Most employees do not like dominant leadership. In the case of so,
they do not work from heart but just for the sake of it.
Ensure that the managers and team leaders do not follow a
dominant or “I am the boss” attitude while interacting with team
members.
Hold necessary training sessions for the team leaders and manager
for the same.
No violation of legal policies
Treat employees as you are expected to treat them by the law.
No false promises of money, forced/mandatory overtime, denial of
earned leaves, immediate change in notice period etc.
No politics
Hard working employees hate politics.
Ensure that granting of leaves, shift assignments, appraisals,
promotions etc. are fairly executed and backed with solid data.
