5   (a) Diagram 5.1 and Diagram 5.2 show the positions of two toy boats before and after a
        stream of water from a hose is directed between the boats.

          Using Diagram 5.1 and Diagram 5.2 compare the distance between two boats , the
          motions of fluid and the force caused by the pressure of fluid between P and Q .
          Relating the motion of the fluid and the pressure of the fluid. state a relationship
          between the velocity of liquid and the pressure of liquid. Name the principle. Involved.

    (b)   Diagram 5.3 shows a hydraulic pump is used to raise car in a motor workshop.

          Using the appropriate physics concept, suggest and explain the modification required
          to the above hydraulic pump to lift a large vehicle than the car.
          In your explanation , emphasise the following aspects:
          (i) the properties of the oil
          (ii) the size of the pistons
          (iii) the material of the base of the lift
          (iv) the air compressor.

6   Diagram 6.1 and Diagram 6.2 show the situation of a fisherman boat a sea and in a
    river.
    The density of the sea water is higher than the density of sea water.

    Based on the information and observation above:

    (a) State one suitable inference.
    (b) State one suitable hypothesis.
    (c) With the use of apparatus such as wooden rod, beaker, Eureka can and other
        apparatus, describe an experimental framework to investigate the hypothesis
        stated in 6(b).
        In your description , state clearly the following:

        (i)   Aim of the experiment

        (ii) Variables in the experiment

        (iii) List of apparatus and materials

        (iv) Arrangement of the apparatus

        (v) The procedure of the experiment which include the method of controlling the
            manipulated variable and the method of measuring the responding variable.

        (vi) Way you would tabulate the data

        (vii) Way you would analyse the data
