Coming Events Adult Sunday School Security guidelines are in place at OCEC. 3 classes meeting in the Fellowship Center at 9:45am All doors of the church are to be locked at all times except during services. The Answers Academy A call button/intercom has been installed at the main north doorway. Teacher: Horst Matschukat Identifying yourself at the call button will alert the office staff Book of Hebrews so that they can activate the left door to unlock for your entry. At last Our women’s Bible studies (WOW Women of the Word) count, she had 32 keys in hand! She won the ten-pack of passes to ride the meet each Tuesday morning and Wednesday evening Oregon City Elevator, a brochure listing 150 Things To Do in Oregon City and a throughout the school year. Tentative Schedule: The Children’s Library sponsored the Summer Dig program to encourage Friday 4:00pm Registration participants to dig in to Christian materials during the summer, expanding their 6:00pm Dinner knowledge of God and their faith. The 43 participants spent 3151 hours reading, 7:00pm Evening Session listening to audio stories or watching videos to expand their faith. Participants Saturday 8:30am Registration turned in tally sheets recording their time spent in Christian materials and 9:00am Morning Session received a prize for each tally sheet, along with a prize drawing ticket for the 11:15am Business/Luncheon Grand Prize, a $100 gift card. In 2008, 36 participants spent 1700 hours diggin’ in to Christian materials. We experienced a 19% increase in participation and an 85% increase in the number of hours invested in Christian materials this summer. Plan now to participate in next summer’s Climb It! Children’s Library challenge.
