Jerry4 has his math book stolen right before a big test. He searches around the school to find his friend Terry2, who he suspects took the book. After asking several other friends, Jerry4 learns that Terry2 was practicing with the band. Jerry4 finds Terry2 and discovers he did take the book to study, but offers to study with Jerry4 instead. They make up and go to study together for the test.

- 2. Welcome to JFK Middle School, This is Jerry4 and his two best friends Gary5 and Phil7. Floyd Middle School
- 3. One morning while studying for the big math test, Gary5 asked Jerry4 to help him hang the flag. Jerry4 agreed and followed Gary5 to the flag.
- 4. While helping Gary5 tie down the flag Jerry4 put down his book and while his back was turned someone ran by, grabbed Jerry4’s math book and ran away with it.
- 5. Where did my book go? Jerry4 shouted. It was here just a second ago. I wonder who could have taken it? Jerry4 thought to himself. I wonder who could have taken it? Where did my book go?!!
- 6. So he decided to find his book before the big test later that day. It wasn’t going to be easy but his math grade depended on it, so he began his search.
- 7. He began his search in the courtyard where people were eating lunch.Have any of you guys seen my math book Jerry4 asked. Have any of you guys seen my math book?
- 8. Tracy12 replied “No” but Shawn17 said that he saw Terry2 running down the front steps with a book earlier. So he went to the steps in hopes of finding Terry2 and hopefully his book as well. No I saw Terry with a book earlier.
- 9. Jerry4 went to the steps but there was no sign of his book, just as he was about to leave Terry2 ran by.
- 10. Jerry4 tried to get his attention but Terry2 disappeared in the distance. So he decided to continue his search for Terry2 and his stolen math book. Hey Terry2 slow down.
- 11. While he was searching for his book he ran into Terry2’s friend, so he decided to ask her if she had seen him. Excuse me, Jill6 have you seen Terry2? Actually I saw him talking to Freddy9 earlier. I think they were at the bookstore.
