- 2. • Do you have a child in your family? • Can he/she speak English, the same way he/she speaks mother tongue? • How much do you care about English? Here is our advice for you:
- 3. • 1. Let the child learn English from as early age as possible.
- 4. • 2. Help your child to learn 2nd language just the way he learned his mother tongue.
- 5. • 3. Talk to him in English (or any 2nd language) in real life situations.
- 6. • 4. Teach him name of objects and verbs by creating games and funny activities.
- 7. • 5. Help your child to be exposed as much as possible to 2nd language (Native English-speaking people, cartoons, posters, flashcards, story books, educational games, etc).
- 8. • 6. Repeat everything you say to him in 2nd language, again and again, each time in real life situations.
- 9. • 7. If possible, let him play with native English-speaking children. You will be surprised if you do so!
- 10. • 8. Encourage and motivate him by admiring his small achievements.
- 11. • 9. Ask another person, in English, to do something just for the child to hear and see it. Keep doing it in different situations.
