- 2. Results (Findings) 研究結果 研究結果目的在呈現研究的發現，並做一些對結果的評論。 研究結果的呈現方式不外乎就是憑藉文字和圖表來說明。 兩大組成部分 : 描述研究發現的文字和數據 輔助說明結果的圖表
- 3. Research Findings ( 研究發現 ) 1. 報告研究重要發現。 2. 次要或詳細數據可置於報告最後的附錄 (Appendix) ，供讀者進一步參閱。 3. 寫作上最常用的名詞 : findings & results 4. 常用動詞 : show, indicate, reveal, yield… Ex: The results show that…
- 4. Graphics & Location of Results ( 圖表 / 研究結果所在 ) 1. 圖表可輔助文字說明，幫助讀者理解以增進閱讀效率，也可美化版面，減少沉悶感。 2. 圖表可分為 figure ( 圖形 ) 和 table ( 表格 ) 3. Figure: tree diagram ( 樹狀圖 ), branching diagram ( 分支圖 ), pie chart ( 圓餅圖 ), bar chart ( 長條圖 ). flow chart ( 流程圖 ) 。 4. 一般 table ( 表格 ) 則是由欄和列所組成。
- 5. Graphics & Location of Results ( 圖表 / 研究結果所在 ) 1. 在撰寫結果時，通常要指出描述結果的文字和搭配圖表的所在。 2. 此時，須按各圖表在文中出現的順序，附上標題和阿拉伯數字的標號如 Table 1 或 Figure 2. 3. 在表達研究結果所在的圖表，其句型時態上只用 現在式 。 Ex: Figure 2 presents the results of the tests. Results of the tests are presented in Figure 2.
- 6. Discussions 討論 ( 探討研究發現 ) 1. 解釋研究結果 (Giving a possible explanation for the results) 語氣上通常會顯得比較保守和謹慎。 (may, might, probably, maybe….)

- 9. Class Activity& Assignment Now work with your members, again think about the outline of your study. Then focus on the first part of your body. Try to organize it and make a draft. Turn in the first part of your body (findings) by next Friday. The first part of findings should be at least 3 pages.
