The Library celebrates the halfway mark of the Du Bois digitization project and launches Credo, an online repository containing the digital collections held by the Department of Special Collections and University Archives.  Credo includes the Du Bois Papers and many other collections, which can be viewed anywhere at any time.  credo.library.umass.edu The name for the repository was selected to honor W.E.B. Du Bois, who published  Credo  in 1904; a powerful statement of his philosophy for achieving racial equality. credo.library.umass.edu

Quiet study areas on 2 nd  and 3 rd  floors  provide comfortable seating, electrical outlets, and wireless Internet access Drop-in carrels on 7 th  and 10 th  floors  offer individual study space; day-use lockers also located on these floors.
