Saveetha University team presented on improvements needed in primary education in India. Key issues included many unqualified teachers, rampant cheating, and a lack of modern techniques. The team proposed testing all current teachers to ensure only qualified staff remain, installing smart boards and WiFi in schools, limiting class sizes, and introducing English, Hindi, computer science, and extracurricular activities from primary levels. Monthly exams and flying squads during tests could reduce cheating. Unqualified teachers could be given alternative jobs like administration. The team believes these changes could help develop primary education in India.
