This study aimed to test the reliability of using a video format to administer the KOOS-PS patient-reported outcome measure in South Africa. Researchers converted the KOOS-PS into a video and collected scores from 70 patients via video and the standard written format. Results found high internal consistency between the video and written scores, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.899. The study concluded that the video format measured the KOOS-PS consistently and reliably while avoiding translation issues and being easier for patients with low education levels to comprehend compared to the written format.
