Dive Technologies has developed – often in conjunction with partners with specialist expertise – a range of solutions that can repair, maintain, protect or extend the life of ships or facilities, making huge savings over the cost of replacement or traditional engineering. Combined with our in-water engineering skills and resources, we can often complete operations with minimal disruption to schedules or operational capability. At Dive Technologies the emphasis is definitely on the Technologies. Using our Dive Technology Centre and the resources that a large engineering group can provide, we can provide development facilities, engineers, Chartered Engineers, divers, welding, cutting, fabricating, bonding, coating, wrapping, anti-corrosion systems and testing. Added to that, our in-water vessel engineers are trained propeller technicians, trained by Stone Manganese Marine – a world leader in ship propulsion. Location, location, location. The Dive Technologies Centre is located in Portland Port, in the U.K: a huge, sheltered, natural harbour with the best water visibility conditions in Europe. The port is located just off the main shipping lanes in the English Channel and can accommodate the largest vessels in service, allowing passing vessels to stopover for repairs, inspections and class surveys with minimum disruption to schedules. High standards need not mean high cost.
