A student built a large structure out of over 2100 toothpicks that started small but gradually grew larger and more complex, causing burns and a messy dorm room. Despite the difficulties, the project was a big challenge that resulted in positive feedback from the class, and the student wants to take on another toothpick structure of this scale again due to the sense of progress and achievement from overcoming the hard work.

- 1. It started with a few toothpicks… Then it grew….
- 4. And grew until it was finished (The back and front)
- 5. In the end, there were a lot of burns, a lot of cleaning up to do in my dorm room, a little over 2100 toothpicks, and a very positive critique and feedback from my class. A very successful project. I would like to work again with toothpicks to make something of this scale because it was a big challenge, but was worth the hard work when I took a step back and really looked at my progress.
