- 3. Reflection • What elements of your experiments will you include in your final product? • After doing my first experiment, I will include a large image on the front cover. This is a useful feature as it gives the audience an idea of what magazine they are reading. It also attracts peoples attention as they are walking past therefore increasing sales. This is because images seem to catch peoples attention more than text. As well as that, a large clean well shot images adds a sense of professionalism to the magazine which will also attract an audience. • I will include a similar bold masthead to what I have done on my front cover experiment. This is because it is bold and easily catches the eye. For the text, I used a website called Dafont.com. I will definitely be using this website again for my fin al product. This is because the website includes a huge variation of different texts which can be used for many different purposes. I also added the drop shadow on the text once I had imported it into Photoshop. This tool adds definition to the text therefore making it stand out the the eye even more.
- 5. Reflection • What elements of your experiments will you include in your final product? • On my double page, I have included large images to attract people towards the different bands. This will be included in my final product as the method works effectively and also makes the magazine look clean and professional. I will also include a variety of text as this allows the reader to gather more information on the images and idea which interests them. Text also attracts a more mature audience therefore expanding the number of sales. • The use of different sized images gives the magazine a sense of complexity and change. This will make every page different therefore not allowing the reader to get bored. I may also include the colour grey. This is because it gives the product a very aesthetic look. As well as that, the colour symbolises the theme of bands and gigs therefore attracting the correct audience.
