This document provides a summary and comparison of the top four enterprise architecture methodologies: the Zachman Framework, The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA), and the Gartner methodology. It uses a case study of a fictional company, MedAMore, to illustrate how each methodology would approach MedAMore's issues of increasing IT complexity, systems hindering agility, out-of-date information, and a lack of trust between business and IT. The document finds that while each methodology has strengths, none are complete alone. It proposes a blended methodology approach tailored to an organization's specific needs and challenges.
