- 1. Proposal 1 Working Title: 8 bit football What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later Product’s Purpose: The products purpose is to entertain the audience by them enjoying the game I’m designing. What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this? Genre: Sport What sort of product is it Content The game I am designing is going to be a football game. It is going to be a head to head game, so one team against the opposite team. What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If so, discuss it here Audience: I am going to aim my final product at male and female aged 8 years and above. Also aimed at middle class people with a balanced psychographic. Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc Why would your project appeal to this person? Legal & Ethical Considerations: Think about any offensive material you will include? Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement? I will not include any offensive material. I am aiming my product at people aged 8 years and above. My final product will not offend any social groups, religions or ethnicities. I will make sure my game doesn’t offend anyone by not including offensive images or offensive language. I will be using existing characters as this is a college project, but if this was a real game I wouldn’t have been able to. I won’t be using any existing brand names for the background.
