Statement of Topic
Good afternoon students
(Tr. shows picture.)
Q.why that person wanted to come out?
Yes because we cannot survive without air
Air is the most important need of human being.
So, today we are going to study the topic air.

Presentation-
Sub unit 1:Atmosphear
Sub unit 2- composition
of Air
Subunit 3-
Composition of air by
volume.
Subunit 4-
The earth is surrounded by a thick layer of
atmosphere
Air also present in water which is used by marine
animals for surviving.
In ancient time people were consider air as an
element but after resurchs the exact composition of
air were found out.
The French scientist Lavoiser showed that air is
mixture of gases
Now we will see the composition of air
(tr. shows the pai chart of composition of air)
The composition of nitrogen in air is 78%,of oxygen
is21%,and 1% is of other gases like CO₂ ,inert gases ,
dust particle and water vapors
The composition of of dust particle and water vapors
varies.
Student discusses with your friend and tells what
factors are responsible for their variation.
Tr gives one hint by showing some pictures.
Yes, the factor due to which the composition of dust
particle and water vapour varies are whether
festivals pollute of vehicles etc.
Now student we will study the properties of air
(teacher shows vedio1)
Q: What have you observe in this video?
Q: What do you conclude from your observation?
We conclude from this video that air contains space
(volume) and weight.
As well as teacher explains the property that air is
compressible and it exerts pressure in equal amount
in all direction.
VEDIO 1
Summarization.
Recapitulation
Reflection
Action
Today we have studied what is air, composition of air
and properties of air.
Q: What do you mean by composition of air?
Q: Who had told that air is a mixture?
Q: What are the properties of air?
(Teacher shows one video)
 What did you observe in this video?
 What steps will you take to protect the
environment?
