Title: FLEX Developer Ref: 4562 Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated individual to design, implement, enhance, and support various aspects of our global sign-off & monitoring systems for our FI business unit, including key new deliverables. The position involves potential exposure to the whole breadth of Sales & Trading risk reporting, depending on the individual's skills and desire to learn. Work with your team members across North America, as well as Sales & Trading risk managers worldwide to add new features and respond to the growing demand. Things you need to have: - FLEX - strong front-end experience - CS Fundamentals (data structures, inter-process communication) - Web programming (containers, JSP, etc.) - XML - SQL - Linux - Ability to understand and explain abstract concepts - Strong communication skills It would be great if you also had: - Server side Java - Spring - Perl - Fixed Income markets and risk is a plus What you will be doing: Top notch FLEX Development, complex and real-time application / system experience, Financial experience, passion for your work, and a great ability to learn new things, think outside the box, and work collaboratively. This Developer will be responsible for building either server side or user facing functionalities depending on the skill set. Project work will span all phases of development -- from user interaction and requirements gathering to design and coding to performance testing, rollouts and some production support.
