This document provides a case study on the implementation of 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) practices in the bakery processes of Bikanervala Foods Pvt. Ltd, a leading Indian catering establishment. The implementation involved identifying issues such as cluttered workstations and excessive scrap. Twenty steps were taken which included creating zones, training employees, developing policies and objectives, visual management, and establishing standards. After implementation, there was a cleaner and more organized work environment, reduced search time, higher work satisfaction among employees, and feelings of pride.
