The cubital fossa is a triangular space in front of the elbow joint. It has boundaries formed by the medial border of the brachioradialis laterally, the lateral border of the pronator teres medially, and an imaginary line between the two epicondyles of the humerus as its base. The contents of the cubital fossa include the radial nerve, tendon of biceps brachii, termination of the brachial artery and beginnings of the radial and ulnar arteries, and the median nerve.
