This document reports the results of testing a compound's ability to inhibit COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes. For compound A, the COX-2 IC50 was 0.57 μM with a 95% confidence interval of 0.48 to 0.69 μM, while the COX-1 IC50 was much higher at 28.77 μM with a 95% confidence interval of 19.60 to 42.24 μM. Similarly for compound B, the COX-2 IC50 was slightly higher at 0.64 μM, and the COX-1 IC50 was lower than compound A at 19.14 μM.
