About Consult A Doctor Consult A Doctor is a next-generation telemedicine company that provides 24/7 access to a network of US-based, board certified physicians for telephone or secure email consultations.
Consult A Doctor’s Mission Consult A Doctor’s mission is to lower health care costs while expanding access to health care and allowing people to live healthier and more productive lives.

These visits - which are informational in nature and/or for routine and common issues - could have been handled by telephone or email. How does the service work? Consult A Doctor provides telephonic and secure email medical consultations: Consultations can range from quick and simple answers to basic health-related questions to more in-depth medical consultations resulting in diagnosis and treatment recommendations. 
Four Levels of Access On Call :   Telephone consult within minutes;  informational in nature, general medical advice, and Q&A.  Priority :   In-depth telephone consult within an hour;  diagnosis and treatment (including prescription medication if necessary). By Appointment :   In-depth telephone consult at a time convenient to the patient;  diagnosis and treatment (including prescription medication if necessary). E-Consult :   Online consult at any time via Consult A Doctor’s secure messaging system;  informational in nature, general medical advice, and Q&A.
Members also have access to an online personal health manager (MyPHM): MyPHM “ My Consult Center” dashboard Electronic medical record, which can be provided to a member’s physician for continuity of care  Online health tools including a health information reference library  a symptom checker an Rx reminder tool
Symptom Checker Evaluate symptoms and recommend treatment options. Risk Assessments Interactive health tools  identify health risks and promote wellness.  Health Alerts  Newsletters with the latest articles, news, and links tailored to your condition. Consult Center Schedule appointments with doctors via phone or secure email MyPHM
Our Physicians… A national network of U.S.-based, licensed primary care physicians. Physician credentialing involves the review and verification of: Education State licensing Board certification Background – disciplinary/malpractice history Malpractice/liability insurance 99% of the physicians have a private medical practice
